Poland Dances with HK Audio

Home to a classical dance group and offering courses in competitive rumba, tango, and waltz, the local dance hall in the lower Silesian city of Bielawa attracts fans of diverse dancing styles. And the venue has a lot more to offer. Very popular with the residents of this small Polish town near the Czech border, the facility may also be rented for parties, concerts, company gatherings, and private celebrations.
Looking to the future and aiming to host many successful events in the years ahead, the venue's owner Waclaw Szwaczka furnished his 300-capacity hall with lavish appointments. What's more, he insists on treating his tenants and users to great sound. This is why he opted for two CTA 208 high-/midrange enclosures and two CTA 118 subwoofers sporting the HK Audio label.
The Polish HK Audio dealer Amtec installed the units after a live demo. Waclaw Szwaczka is delighted with his ConTour Array system: "I had several reasons for choosing the Contour Array by HK Audio. On the one hand, the system's dimensions are compact, yet it provides enough power for this relatively big dance hall. Its sound is articulate and good. And because it is an active system that does not require a separate rack, amp, or controller, we don't have a mess of cords in the hall. What's more, the system is so easy to handle; that is, anyone can use it even without a lot of in-depth knowledge of it. Of course, the fact that HK Audio offers very good value for the money also influenced my decision. So far, dance groups and organizers' response to the system and the sound has been altogether positive, which is very gratifying."
