New Products from APart at PLASA
Following the success of the black SUB-2400 and the demand from distributors, this powerful new subwoofer from Apart is now available in white, and is now perfectly compatible with the MASK6W and MASK8W cabinet loudspeakers.
The MDF wooden cabinet in white structure paint has two band-pass chambers where each chamber is equipped with a 10" dual coil woofer. Due to the small size of the woofers less mass needs to be moved compared to bigger 15" or 18" subwoofers. This results in a more "punchy" and "quick" kick-bass. Compared to the size of the cabinet, the output power of the SUB-2400 is incredible and the distortion is extremely low. The SUB-2400W can be used in 4 or 16 Ohm. The 16 Ohm option allows longer cable runs or the use of multiple subwoofers.
With the price/quality ratio becoming more and more important in the contractor market, and without compromising the design aspect, APart has introduced the SDQ series. The discreet and stylish design is in perfect harmony with the transparent sound exhibited. These 2-way cabinet loudspeakers have the typical APart rounded grill, known from the former SDi series. With three different sizes available (8", 5" and 3") in three different colours, for both constant voltage and/or low impedance use, most of the contractor market applications can be covered. All SDQ loudspeakers have the AP Protection-Guard limiter inside which prevents damage to woofers and tweeters. Mounting brackets always included.
Multi-source is naturally linked with multi-room and matrix systems. The new APart PR4000 offers the benefit of four independent tuners, all in a compact and sturdy 19" 1 unit housing. All tuners can be controlled by the IR handheld remote control (included) and each tuner’s output attenuator allows a perfect volume match between the different tuners.
The Apart PA-CONF-SET consists of one chairman microphone terminal with priority button and speech button, and seven delegate microphone terminals with speech button and all necessary cabling. All microphone terminals have a built-in limiter. All cables, microphones and bases are packed in a robust flight case. The microphones need to be powered by the APart PA-CONF: an easy-to-use microphone pre-amplifier system with built-in DSP anti-feedback control. The simple and easy set-up of the PA-CONF-SET makes it extremely suitable for presentations, rental companies, hotels, meeting rooms, boardrooms and many other applications.
As multi channel amplifiers become increasingly used in Public Address projects, APart have now introduced the QuadPack, a 4-channel amplifier of 150 Watts in 100Volt per channel. The unit consists of modular amplifiers and 100V transformers mounted in a sturdy metal 4U 19" frame. The modular aspect contributes to the reliability of each amplifier and allows flexibility in the system design. Each amplifier can easily be monitored via the phone jack on the front panel.
Multi room sound systems have become very popular and many of these systems require external amplification. The APart SixPack has six modular stereo amplifiers built into a sturdy metal 4U 19” frame. Each amplifier has a power of 2 x 80 Watts in 4 Ohm, and a limiter and protection circuit is standard. Furthermore, every amplifier is equipped with a balance and bass/treble tone control. Each amplifier has a remote power-on system and the volume of each amplifier can be controlled via an up-down contact. The modular aspect contributes to the reliability of the SixPack and allows easy servicing of each stereo zone independently.
