Angelo Kelly on Tour with HK Audio Actor DX
If you immediately start screaming ecstatically “Oh, the Kelly Family!“ when hearing the name of Angelo Kelly, you are absolutely right – however, you are not paying attention to the fact that Angelo is also an excellent drummer, and even this is almost an understatement. No wonder, since he has been taught by no less than Billy Cobham. Angelo is extremely demanding not just with regard to his teachers and so he has been counting for quite some time on the both compact and powerful HK Audio active PA systems for his numerous drum clinics.
Angelo recently published his first solo album ‘I’m Ready’ which he is now on tour with. To make sure that the rock and pop songs reach the audience’s ears perfectly, he has chosen HK Audio equipment again and this time it’s two Actor DX systems. That’s a total of 6.400 crisp Watts out of 12 compact cabinets (four active subwoofers, four passive subwoofers, four mid/high units) which are, thanks to HK Audio’s unique and patented DDO controller, filling up the halls with absolute clarity and dynamics even under full load. No other system of comparable size sounds more powerful and defined. And none is easier to transport, say HK Audio.
Angelo and his excellent live band – as well as the quality of the Actor DX systems – can be experienced live on stage until October 1st when final gig of the ‘I’m Ready“ tour will take place in the Stollwerk venue in Cologne, Germany.
