A.C. Lighting Launches Major Competition to Win a Jands Vista
A.C. Lighting Ltd has announced details of a major online competition to win a Jands Vista S3 lighting control system and bonus Vista prize draw at this year’s PLASA tradeshow.
The competition coincides with the launch of the new Vista S3 and Vista App hardware and software solutions, and is open to participants living in Europe, North America and the Middle East.
Designed to complement the full size T4 and T2 consoles, the Vista range now includes a solution to suit any size budget or show, ranging from 128 channels up to 8,192. The new products also give existing users even greater flexibility when using the lighting system across a range of different size projects.
The main online competition officially launches on the A.C. Lighting stand at PLASA 06 – where the company will be showing final production models of the new Vista solutions – and runs until Friday 1st December 2006.
Entrants have the chance to win a 1024 channel Vista S3 (with a list price of £4,200/$9,244) or one of 100 free 1-day vista training vouchers.
The online competition consists of two stages. Entrants first download the Vista App PC software and follow instructions provided to build a basic light show, then find the answers to 5 simple Vista related questions by looking on the Jands Vista and A.C. Lighting websites. To enter the competition, go to http://www.aclighting.com/vista.
In addition, there is a bonus prize draw at the PLASA tradeshow to win a 512 channel Vista control system (with a list price of £896). To enter the competition, visit the A.C. Lighting stand J28 at PLASA (Earls Court, 10th – 13th September) and find the answers to five Vista related questions from information available on the stand. Entries must be submitted during the show to qualify for the draw.
Entry to each competition is free. Full details of how to enter can be found at http://www.aclighting.com/vista. Winners will be announced on the website during the week following each competition closing date.
The new compact Vista S3 puts all the revolutionary features of the full-scale console into a desk that can fit under an arm. Jands provide the control surface and Vista software. Users install the software on their PC, connect it to the S3 via USB cable and it becomes a fully operational Vista console.
The new Vista App is a cost-effective software only version, which provides a full lighting control system when installed on a PC. The software also doubles as an offline editor which enables users to continue programming and editing their shows whilst offline from their lighting system or T4/T2/S3 console.
