PAS Pro from Omnitronic
Omnitronic has enlarged its popular PAS series with the new PAS Pro. With an advanced acoustic pattern and a lower weight the two 2-way top speakers shall extend the series at the top.
These multifunctional speakers bear the suffix "Pro". Although they have a similar power spectrum as the present tops, they weigh far less and offer additional features. The PAS Pro's weight is up to a third lower than that of their popular peers, and for a relatively low extra charge you get a much more balanced sound.
First class PTC resistors (resistors with positive temperature coefficients) efficiently protect the built-in P.Audio tweeters against overload. The subsequent tweeter must only provide a limited performance and is saved from an early death. Four additional rubber feet are included for floor use avoiding unwanted scratch marks on the enclosure.
Since March 2004, the PAS has been an integral part of the Omnitronic range. As it has been used for rental and installed for numerous times, they may well be considered as modern classics. The PAS series is a state-of-the-art solution for small to medium events and still comes at an outstanding price-performance ratio.
In the meantime, the well-known series consists of nine subwoofers (different building types) and eight 2-way tops. For installations there a two perfect solutions: the PAS-228 top with a very clear resolution in a very compact design as well as the PAS-151S subwoofer with an inclined speaker position which is leading to a strongly reduced housing dimension.
The new Omnitronic PAS Pro is available from now on.
